Saw on brightime recent posts - 116710LN at 12950, 116520 Black dial at 24950. Seems much lower than before. Anyone sees this trend at other preowned watches? Any thoughts? Maybe this is the best time to get our grail watches

noticed just these 2-3days as well . stores like these got overheads to pay unlike independent dealers/traders. ** and market uncertainty are def impacting ones purchase of luxury watches for sure. Heard PP grey market asking prices also took a big hit, duno how true. ( quite ridiculous to begin with in my opinion)

ups for discussion - a test of the rolex, , ap , PP "bubble" to come?

To add on, iIMO, please correct me if wrong, For middle tiered brands like PP and AP i feel like PP prices seems to be fast and furious whereas AP more of slow and steady type

Rolex popular SS sports models like more mass market pricing, with the strong marketing they did over the years, there is always a big group of mass-market luxury buyers to hold the market even in down turn.

side note: can anyone advise on AP chronos, like 26311 series? worth getting and demand wise? my gripe is that its not in-house movement and have a closed case back

Hard to drop below retail for some models as too mani speculators...those noe or dunch noe one also will juz wan to flip...1 thing we noe ish flippers will try to move inventory if situation drags on coz they can’t tahan cashflow

Wonder what happens to our local ADs during ** though... Saw from recent YouTube videos that in US they will shunt supply real-time from those ADs who were closed to those open. Hope locally they would still ship or accumulate, so when they reopen, there's a very minute but increased chances of getting the call...

Perhaps need to define the “turn”.

I dunno how everyone else winds their watches, but I do it by running my index finger along the crown. Like the crown is a wheel and my finger is the road.

One turn for me means crown meets finger where the nail starts, rolls along until slightly beyond the 2nd joint (before the knuckle).

The second hand WILL start moving.

The same goes for my Patek. But my Lange needs more.

Anyway, I won’t start a YouTube channel just for this.

When I wind, it's almost one wind, maybe 10/12 way through.
