No, he did it purposely to sabo the original owner.
I think so too. He was grinning and looking pleased when he reveal in the video that the original owner will lose his VIP status. So seems to me he really did it on purpose to sabo the original owner. Actually he doesn’t really gain anything from doing that.

There is this tick tokker who bought a precious metal daytona from watch exchange. Then he went to an rolex boutique to size the bracelet. Guess what? The watch was actually sold from there. I think the person who sold to watch exchange will likely lose his vip status with rolex.
Oh yeah, that ass. He looks like a prick anyway, so I guess no surprise he acts like one.

Resale prices seems to be moving up based on the charts from Sgwatchinsider. Is the bottom already reached?

sure reach la.
lol some pieces are below retail like WG YM, even white gold blue sub for like new.

AD have minimal bundle value for sports model one.
if you have to buy a few shitter + sports with (losses incurred), flip liao, still need earn one.

in the end who win? AD are the biggest winner.
not flippers, not grey market dealers

AD have a 35% profit margins on Rolex alone + all other profit margins (minimal 25-40%) from all the other stuff you buy.
imagine that.

Grey dealers, buy from flippers or some say AD. earn 500-1k per watch. lol. ho seh meh?
yall think grey dealers get stock at retail. jokers

Yes, the rock bottom was reached in End July / Early Aug. After that stabilised and some signs of moving up early this month. Can see Watch Exchange and some grey dealers increasing the price a little bit this month

Saw a few posts here mentioning about bundling for an entry sports model. Called up a few boutiques to ask about it. All of them said they don't do bundling lol.

Actually bundling is just another way of saying it’s a profile building game, meaning you got to buy something first to build profile and purchase history before you can be allocated a sports model. It is strictly speaking not a bundle deal technically (a bundle deal if taken literally is supposed to be where you are allowed to purchase both watches at same time). You ask openly like that to AD using the term ‘bundle’, they will of course tell you they don’t do bundling. In the past, they do bundling more commonly, but now they don’t. But in forums like this, whether it is bundling deal or profile building game aka “journey”, people always commonly use the term “bundle” to describe it

AD have their own rules of game. They won't openly use words like 'bundle'. They will advise you to start a journey with them first. Best is to go down physically to the shop and acquaint with a SA. Every day they receive hundreds of enquiry calls, and I can say most of them either 1st time buyers or flippers.

Some AD try to say it’s building your watch profile not your profile with them. Those load of BS, as when they hear you already own a lot of stuff, their enthusiastic face faded away.

Exactly. For AD, the word “bundle” is a sensitive word and they will tell customers they do not do bundle if the customer use the word bundle from the start, especially when the enquiry is done through a phone call. When enquiry is done through phone call, even if one were to ask how to start “journey” with them, they will probably not entertain. A visit to the boutique physically is the best way to start and even then should not use the word bundle.

The first word that my current AD uses when I first started with him/her is “journey“. Building profile are two words that came later. The word bundle was never used.

The bundling/flipping game seems to be quite widespread. Recently saw alot of neighbours wearing hublot classic fusion, frank muller and tudor classic. Saw them in office and lunch hours.

AD huat big big

They won't entertain you by phone call lah. You need to personally go down to the shop to be serious about this. Over phone the AD don't even know how you look like how to say yes? :)

Haha I think I just own goal myself. Well I did say to THG rep that I don’t mind buying something to get allocation. She still say they don’t do such things lol.

So what does profile building actually mean? Does it mean that once I go there I need to buy the watch(es) they recommend before even bringing the idea of me wanting a Rolex? Or do I just need to buy watches from them and hope they will one day call me up about the model I want?

Is there any tactful way to say “hey can you tell me what I should do to get allocated for a 124270”?
