actually, demand is still there. lol so many people here asking how to get it retail LOL
if demand is dead, means AD will have to display watches for sale. that's when the game ends.
then you will see people here all disappear lol
Yea exactly that. There’s still demand but not as high as before.. more are sitting on the fence, can’t decide to go for retail or grey. Sales volume for grey drop for sure hence prices drop.
It will even out soon I guess, all depends on how bad the market is gonna go.

Enquire a Rolex explorer 1 in Carousell and a seller want to sell me at $11.5k , but when I asked where he got stocks, he say it is from overseas AD .

Then this seller say HIS SELLER gets the explorer 1 from Malaysia AD, which is then sold to the Carousell seller to sell to me. How much margin they earn sia? Few hundred? Seems like Rolex price is really plummeting.
FYI, I did not go through the deal, smells fishy when the seller always try to convince me to authenticate this authenticate that….. nah I rather take from AD directly.

Bye grey market, faster sell before the market crashes

I think he meant supply and demand of the resale market. But good lah hopefully this roots out all the flippers and we’ll just be left with Greys with credibility.
the grey is still strong, don't believe, go bencoolen and walk during the weekends. lol
people are snapping up on low prices

actually, with the prices dipping, it's a win for end users + grey dealers (not flippers)

Now getting from grey is more worth it. Buying tons of other crap to get allocated or bundle waste of time and effort. Waiting to see market become seller market.
Instead of us thanking AD for allocation, they thanks us for buying
lol, AD too strong liao. can smoke 18k tudor + rootbeer bundle and still need to thank on social media.
laugh die me. that idiot got smoked badly

Yea agree. Unless it’s those greys that took in inventory at higher price and got stuck.. know of some new setups also got stuck and didn’t open shop lol..

must buy for the right reason la.. if real intent is to flip then really good luck..

It’s really terrible to know that most of the watches selling in grey comes from overseas AD…. Everytime I enquire, it’s either the seller is selling for their friends, or consignment sales, etc. and always go to lucky plaza to authenticate , which I find it bullshxt.
Trust me everyone in grey is just trying to make profit from flipping and flipping…. Just don’t buy rolex from grey.

Why terrible? In the past, large majority of watches from Grey were also from overseas ad.: and they sell lower than local ad retail price

There has to be an avenue for people to buy and sell their watch no? Unless you think people should keep whatever watches they buy forever?

greys are just there to facilitate and earn a markup for that service. They are also taking in watches at market price. I don’t see the issue. Unless you think reputable greys that has been in business for years are getting all their stock directly from ADs at rrp?

What's wrong with overseas ADs? Have frens who are pilots and they regularly buy from overseas ADs, options also more than some local ones
