didnt know it was a popular model as im trying to own a rolex piece that I like for the first time, i expressed interest in the datejust fluted bezel 41mm as well.


If can't get within a year, i'll just buy from grey and that will be the end of story.

i don't know about the rest but i know grey are moving watches because its dirt cheap.
cheaper than bundling with AD.
put name interest list, can't get jacksh1t, pay 2-3k more can get stuff you want immediately (selected models)
AD haven't wake up yet but lucky they got many idiots following

remember old timer greys are there before al the hype. if they can survive those times and do well, they will be ok now.
newer greys - maybe not so much. got into the game too late.

Simple logic.. Demand and supply.. demand is dropping and supply is still there. They need to sell the watches to generate revenue.. else who pays the rent and staff salary.. only way to attract buyers, lower the price.. some of the newer grey dealers may fold up..

I think he meant supply and demand of the resale market. But good lah hopefully this roots out all the flippers and we’ll just be left with Greys with credibility.

Now getting from grey is more worth it. Buying tons of other crap to get allocated or bundle waste of time and effort. Waiting to see market become seller market.
Instead of us thanking AD for allocation, they thanks us for buying
