There's only 1 SHH. I have a sincere SA but she's doesn't handle the brands at SHH. Been with her for years.
Gronefeld recently also need wait.
Czapek I am on the list for 1. The SA I met SHH quite on the ball. Share with me new releases all the time.

Most basic model LM101 in steel has already risen to 80+k and based on AD's allocation. The ship has sailed for indies sadly.

Over 90 for steel.

rolex is mass market average watch but because branding and it being a workhorse, people like.

Not gonna lie, started off as one of those who thought Rolex were the best watches one could get haha..

These days im leaning more to brands like pp, jlc, gp so I would say Rolex got me interested in watch collecting i guess

same here. Got in cause of Rolex. Ended falling in love with swiss brands like Zenith, Breguet, Blancpain and then German brands like Sinn, A Lange, Glashutte original.

but most important thing about watches is recognition

wear rolex, tom dick harry know, wah seh rolec leh.
wear Kari Voutilainen, those buay hiao don't know, best. those in the know, from far will know you no joke and know your stuff.
see what kind of crowd recognition you're into

Rolex is different because its famous globally & There is alot of effort placed to making it successful.

Its the only dominant brand

The other brands are still not as successful as it is and omega tag heuer can never match up to it

As for other brands its not possible to get robbed when wearing it because there is zero recognition, only wear for yourself

Actually i dont feel butthurt

I only think those non rolex but wearing patek or RM is waste money only

Patek is like spending $700 on hermes tee shirt with no branding outside
Rolex is like spending $700 on balenciaga with logo outside tee shirt

For the patek, you dont get much value as compared to Rolex

Actually I kinda like that.

Ideas like a deadbeat seconds watch or the Moser Alpine are funny and cool at the same time. And they increase the level of personal enjoyment and connection to the watch. But people think you're wearing a quartz or an Apple watch. Only you know.

And the people who notice are most likely who you want to "show" anyway.

There are so many ways we can frame our watch collecting philosophies, and they change as we go along.
