watch noob here asking: if you have 1 and only rolex is it better to have datejust or submariner?

I would actually go for the fluted wimbledon DJ in jubilee for my 1 and only watch, seems pretty easy to dress up and down.

But just curious since its a 1 of, are there any hard price or model restrictions? There are quite alot of nice 1-of I can think of eg. Godzilla & Root beer and maybe even blue sky?

Oh ya, talking about Wimbledon, what is the exact model looks like?

I know the Roman’s are in green and the “9” is a white thick line (something like this - ). Does it mean that as long as the Roman are green with the number “9” in -, means it is a Wimbledon?

or it must go with a jubilee/oyster with SS, or it must be a TT gold or TT rosegold…

Just seeking you guys’ opinion

Yes in general the slate dial with green roman is nicknamed wimbledon.

I don’t like two toned watches. Prefer ss

I don’t mind a Pepsi also but I find the bezel a little bit “busy” and I don’t travel much

The only reason I can think of is getting a 100% authentic piece after exhausting brand new options from AD.
