I don’t like two toned watches. Prefer ss

I don’t mind a Pepsi also but I find the bezel a little bit “busy” and I don’t travel much
Like you've mentioned, i also find the Dual coloured GMT bezels a little busy so they're a daily beater for me(i have a batman as my daily beater).

With that being said, the absolute 1-of SS rolex can think of is the Godzilla. It has a mix of sporty and classy, much better than any DJ I can think of.

If you guys were to choose, which one will you guys go for?

Submariner Bluesy
Explorer II Black Dial
Explorer 1 36mm
Sea Dweller
Deep sea challenge
Air King

Bluesy really nice sia 😄
Explorer 1 is quite under the radar which is good. Explorer 2 black dial is good for a very dependable gmt which isn’t as overpriced as the gmt master 2.

Daytona also looks "very busy" for the dial :ROFLMAO:
I found it funny someone on SGROC page posted a Daytona and mentioned how it's easy to set because there's no date and/or GMT complication, like, I mean that's why you bought a Daytona right? LOL

well im guess if one gets Daytona from AD, must first buy > Submariner/SeaD > GMT > Daytona (where ">" refers to other watches) .. but i personally like GMT best, most practical watch. Usually use it to track NYSE time and SG time

Me too, my favourite range of Rolex watch is actually the GMT. I don’t mind collecting all of it if possible

Always liked watches with GMT function. Although nowadays, better not to wear a Rolex to certain countries.

Would you consider the Explorer II part of the GMT collection? Haha.

Speaking of which, I see a young guy around my age in a cafe wearing a 1655 right now

I also find the gmt nice but takes time to set and it is hard to wear for travel without worrying about this and that. The argument of course is dive watches are also not worn for diving neither do most ppl use chronograph to time often, but still…

The list of countries I would wear a Rolex outside of Singapore are South Korea, Japan, UAE, Qatar, Switzerland, Taiwan (yes it's a country), China, Hong Kong, Nordic countries, New Zealand and Australia.

I think in general it’s not so safe and that will weigh on your mind. I’ve won my explorer on nato to Florence and the AD there agrees that with long sleeves it’s probably safe.

Not exactly. Would consider the skydweller as part of GMT collection though.
The young guy (as young as you are) is probably quite a watch enthusiast I guess
