my friend father is a long time THG customer. he told his dad he wanted to buy a panda daytona for himself for his 30th, the father made a call. the watch is available to collect next week. he dont want let me see his father collection confirm big time

in 2018, you buy urwerk at THG, immediate get panda too

no need biggest whale, any willing party, spending also more than me
i don't usually buy AD because i know i cannot keep up. i buy to test theory.
those 15-20 DJ i bought, was given 5% off (that is normal during that period). I buy 3-4 pieces each go, flip to dealer at almost my cost (i earn the miles and try build profile and see legit can get stuff anot). end up bloody disappointed, from then onwards, fug the ADs.

some guy offered to deal at patek service centre. i said ok, need make appointment for authentication. he say he arrange. go down already, he was greeted by the service staff by name, ushered to a private room and the technician came out to take the watch for authenication.
the manager or director of the service centre came over and chit chat with him (like buddy)

he told me, his account with THG very long already but recently he can't seem to get stuff because THG converted to online system, paper trail all gone. so he lazy to rebuild, just buy preowned or grey.

took out 74k of 1k notes pass me, i said you had time to draw from the bank (that period still can draw 1k from bank). he say no need, have it in his safe at home. who the fk have 70+ k lying around at home sia.

i have seen it all. rich people no joke

Seriously tonight didn’t discuss about next Rolex...took opportunity to ask about my wait for 5167A. Her advice is that if 5167A is the only model I want to wait for, can still get but have to be patient to wait as the number of pieces they receive per year is max 2 now, and she is frank to tell me that she don’t think the next piece of 5167A is for me. So what she is saying is that, If I‘m open to other Aquanaut variations, she feels it will increase my chances of getting it earlier than if I only want to wait for 5167A. Hence, I agreed to add two more variations to the list, which is 5168G and 5164A.
