don't see the need to authenticate if buying from shop. they will lose their license if they sell fakes and no point for them to sell fake

I'm actually looking for one also, but kinda impossible to get from local ad hence there are some willing to pay premium , not in my case .

Huh? It's only 8.6k.. Why are u paying so much more for exp1? It's not really a popular watch

If there are always more than enough people willing to pay the premium, then that does not make it a premium but the true RRP already. Unless u truly believe u can find an AD who would sell to u over their regular grey buyers or the odd VIP.

True, I believe that there's always going to be people that is willing to pay the true rrp price like what you said and explorer 1 is the one with the least, still keeping my hopes of landing 1 at local ad though well if I couldn't get 1 so be it . There's honestly so much brands other then Rolex, just my sincere opinion hope it doesn't offend anyone

Was quoted 10.2k for a Rolex explorer 1 from a local AD. Worth or no go?

RRP is 8.8k
AD can sell at premium? Kena report they will kena.
Explorer 1 not exactly considered a sports model.
Back then it was fried high price due to jap star TK
Later The hype died down
