too big and snowflake covers block chrono sub dials, peepur buying onli bcos no choice to “build rship” notch bcos they realli like it...ish a preferred choice over those ugly classic models

True ,so if those preown shop or reputable shops selling brand new pieces or preown pieces do you guys still do authentation ?I believe they wouldn't be selling fake watches right?referring to shops like bright time, maybe timestory ,they seem to have alot of brand new rolexes

Not fake as in fake per se but frankenwatches
Some have extra diamonds or maybe dials cannibalized from another model. Rolex Center also doesn’t recognised such watches

Ya, this image from the Tudor website, you tell me got block the sub dial anot.

Too thick and heavy to wear, and bracelet is plated not solid gold.

Need to do authentication, maybe you are new in the watch game.. haven't experience movement swap (only Rolex can tell you the movement serial matches with the watch case serial), recon-dial / aftermarket dial , mis-match watch bracelet (watch head 2002, bracelet 1998 ) .

Oppx, I dont want to exposed too much, later all the grey seller shop ban me.

Not really new to the watch game but definetely new to Rolex , bought most of my watches brand new so not very familiar with all the movements swap non matching serials .

Need to do authentication, maybe you are new in the watch game.. haven't experience movement swap (only Rolex can tell you the movement serial matches with the watch case serial), recon-dial / aftermarket dial , mis-match watch bracelet (watch head 2002, bracelet 1998 ) .

Well, they take in watch without checking. So what make u so sure the watch is not operated before?

Don't know about the part whether they take in without checking but I believe reputable shops will do their due diligence to check,whether they open up caseback anot I'm not sure .don't deny that watch can be tempered with that is why my question on whether there's a need to check for bnib pieces from reputable shops .

Bnib w a warranty easiest la. Just go RSC complain something trivial and they will check for u, no cost anyway. If all’s good, also mean yr watch legit or the fake is so high quality even RSC cannot detect

Grey dealers don't always open up and check. Sometimes they just take in as it is. First hand experience.

Must tell RSC to charge those customers who pretend to find fault and to send in their watches to check authencity...if no fault found then a nominal diagnosis charge to be charged if notch every cheapo kia will start sending in to pretend

Agree.. last week I went RSC (walk in) Waited around 45mins.. alot of newbie go there waste time ask silly questions trying to authenticate for free.

I would prefer getting them from Authorized Dealers. I saw several ADs from rolex sites such as kee hing hung and watch palace. Just wondering if there's a need to authenticate if you buy from them? Understand they are official dealers, but as lucky plaza/people's park is not really affluent places. Sorry for asking a silly question

Went to a few ADs in 'atas' area as well, but felt the attitude wasn't too friendly.

Hmmm, no harm trying to asking them to open case back and let you see ba, just try your luck say you want to look at the movement lor.

If OP is a noob, opening case back is quite meaningless.. and i rather caseback stays intact, afterall is bnib from AD, would not suggest that... at all..

OP end of day if u no faith in smaller AD then pls do get from the ADs u trust instead....
