this is Singapore. what the ADs sell are definitely real. their dealership license worth more than selling fake

Authorized dealers, whether in Chinatown or Ion, won’t sell fake watches. There’s no need to authenticate if you buy from an AD with a Rolex sign in their shop.

Authentication is for if you’re buying a watch from a private seller or grey dealer. Even then, it’s largely a waste of time even for reputable grey dealers when it comes to current production models. Their reputation is worth much more than selling you a fake.

There is a clear and distinct difference being snobbish vs just drilling the idea of common sense.... Is your dollar really worth so much that an ad will go sell you a counterfeit? For that few thousand dollars profit??? Yes indeed, you are so so special. My words may disturb or sounded harsh but I am jus upfront honest.

And to estrangable, sorry you might feel you are just being honest and logical, but the way others perceive you is simply self centered and immature. High IQ but low EQ.

Well seems like it does to you, since in the whole of HWZ you only lurk in Rolex and watch thread. :s13:

For me, i'm just a newbie passerby curious about getting a new watch. Have fun with your last word, get a life, i'm outta here!

No need to authenticate if you buy from any AD, not just in singapore, but most (if not all) countries.

There is a grey area though for certain developing countries. I was in Nairobi last year and was hesitant to purchase from the only AD there.

They did. Sub ND, Bluesy, and the rest are YM, YM2 half gold and couple of skydwellers in leather straps. Didn't dare to buy so just left. Multibrand AD.
