Asking experienced bros, if I just want to get a gmt master II, am I just better off going straight to grey market or still try my luck with AD?
Right now grey is the best option, resale prices have come down quite a bit.

But ADs will still hold on the stocks and sell to higher "performing" customers, but also can't blame them la, they have so many stocks push by brands to take also.

I was told by KHH SA that last Saturday (1 Feb) they had an event with many watches for walk-in purchase (including SS GMT). Anyone was there?

I was there, mostly two tone and diamond Daytonas, two tone Datejust and some ladies Datejust.
1 DJ 36mm was stainless steel with smooth bezel and black dial.

sports model include bluesy sub two tone; air king; explorer (36mm) stainless and two tone, Explorer 2; deep sea and yacht master 40mm rhodium.

no stainless GMT or sub available.

actually got ppl uses 3rd party servicing to do cleaning or oiling or not? RSC sometimes is not about the money. Sometime is sloppy workmanship that scratches the casing etc.

if 3rd party trusted service shop can they get authentic parts if needed?

definitely got ppl do outside one just like car svc
do at AD or outside which is cheaper

but hour glass do svc consider AD svc? my frd told me is cheaper

those ah beng grey shop think better not unless u REALLY know them WELL
