Among all the ADs I visited, the one at marina square got to be the worst.

I was quite desperate for a timepiece to celebrate year end so I went with 3 other friends/ relatives who were also interested to buy a watch to AD to see whatever watch stock they have. The salesperson was extremely snobbish and didn’t even introduce herself. I asked her what men watches above 40mm they have in stock and she just brushed me off and pointed me to a black datejust. I asked her if there were any others and she just shrugged her shoulders.

Times have changed. nowadays salesperson also can look down on customers...

So which ADs in Singapore do you all think is the best in terms of service?

Not possible. The interest list is bulls*h*t. If you dun have purchasing history, you can put your name down and you wait 10 years and they still not call you. I think you are talking about 4-5 years back when it is still possible to purchase Rolex professional models with a walk in. This is not possible at all now.
While u deemed its impossible, I witnessed it as possible n it wasn't a walk in, it was an agonising wait from Feb to Dec (year 2020) for him though.

The price fluctuate a lot so like a bit hard to grasp

take the median. see those grey retailer posts and you can have an estimate.

GMT2 i estimate it to be 14k onwards. considering that you could have purchased at slightly above 10k the previous round? hold on, price will appreciate further unless you in need for cash now.

i have a 2015 which i purchased for slightly below 10k from AD previously. i am still holding onto it. had become my daily wear.

whatever top service or best service u are looking for, the end result is the same. there's nothing much available on display shelves of all ADs.

i find the service level of marina sq not bad actually, probably u expected abit more from them cos u mention u are desperate?

if u are desperate then dealers like brightime is the place u shld go, they got plenty on display and reviews is solid.

Rumours of a price increase coming up... to be fair prices in Sg are quite reasonable / on the lower end compared to elsewhere

Wrong. Buy 5 datejust on the spot, most likely you will be offered something. Even if not at that moment, also within a couple of months.

What models you looking for? Some can just buy off grey la. Otherwise you won't get it without purchase history one
