Just found the following information below on the number of links in the rolex watch.

Realised that most of the 2nd hand dealers, like to remove and keep 1-2 link for themselves, then charge you accordingly for additional link :o

how to see if the watch is selling at premium or retail price?

i see, i called some AD before, and they were saying like "this model cost xxxxx" or "we are selling at xxxxx"

didnt realised that the price could be a premium....

Only certain models are in premium. Eg, ss Daytona, ss gmt batman, ss sub hulk and ss dssd Blue.

Meaning others like a normal day-date or ceramic submariner pricing is cheaper than RSC?

Non sport models usually have discount depending on your relationship with the SA. usually no discount for sport model. But this also depends on the relationship. Some will sill give discount for certain sport models.

Just gotten back a service quotation from rolex. Additional 2 tone gold link at $306.12 before GST wor! I think i get from carousell cheaper then those 2nd hand watch shop Dealers.

This is a Good reference for those keen on buying additional links, changing Crystal and Bezel.

Went to shop try the normal Sub, SD4000, SD & DSSD. I prefer the 44mm =:p

The DSSD aka James Cameron Rolex is just beautiful, but too expensive for my budget.

What's the price for SD 44mm in AD nowadays?:o
