For WC... the maintenance is what deter ppl rather than the cost.

But I dont really like the stock cooler, not that its isnt good, but I prefer something really quiet. Anyway the nicest Waterblock is still the original Titan Hydro Copper... that look was beyond awesome.

Speaking of maintenance..... This coming Aug marks my 1 year mark for my wc ---->

So far so good. But gonna redo all the fans to noctuas ppc industrial 2000rpm nf 12.

Change the coolant

Along the way see got any new top tier gpu from either camps. Get another waterblock.

Time to go for single powerful gpu.

single power GPU might as well stick to air cooling...

Thats something that is so wrong.

A single powerful gpu with wc is very different from air cooling.

Not only you can oc better. Your vrms and cores are much cooler. And for that you can sustain even higher boost clocks. Thats just standard factory bios.

For my single r9 290 i can sustain additional 370mhz. And the boost clock brings it further.

So far my max temp for r9 290 is 58deg. Oc further it can go 65deg.

But if i were to set to dual gpu. A sweet spot needed to be found for both gpu clock speed to work together.

Exactly what I'm thinking.....for some one that does wc and not...lol
One 295x2 in a itx... That's all required...

And not only that, picture all my 12 fans running at just 600rpms to maintain the load temps.

If you are going PPC Noctuas at 1k also can. You hardly can hear a thing. I still dont dare to delved in WCing, at most I might get off the shelves hybrid coolers for EVGA. I heard it does effectively reduce load temps by 20C in Western countries.
Leverage would be much higher for a humid place like SG. If that is the case, probably need to get 4 more noctuas in push pull config and new casing to support rads liao.

Just aim for thicker and longer rads?
