Thats something that is so wrong.

A single powerful gpu with wc is very different from air cooling.

Not only you can oc better. Your vrms and cores are much cooler. And for that you can sustain even higher boost clocks. Thats just standard factory bios.

For my single r9 290 i can sustain additional 370mhz. And the boost clock brings it further.

So far my max temp for r9 290 is 58deg. Oc further it can go 65deg.

But if i were to set to dual gpu. A sweet spot needed to be found for both gpu clock speed to work together.

The amount of heat being disposed in SLI and single gpu is quite different, which is why for SLI configure it would be more beneficial to go for WC loop where the heat is directed and exhaust out effectively through the rad.

To be frank when you go WC, it is not about value liao. WCing is never value to performance centric but rather more of enthusiast level. You would just want to push it as high as possible be it single, or up to 4 way SLI. Secondly, for aesthetics too lol.

Ditto to that. Its not that hard as well. Those who says its hard have not even try yet. With proper planning and research and learning from other mistakes, it can be done and mistakes can b avoided. Simply by saying its hard without trying is just :s13:....

Normally people are concern with the risk involved and the maintainence, i have several friends who are pretty rich and get good setup for their gaming rig, but when i recommend them watercooling for better acoutics as well as good temps the first concern risk is always the risk, and how to often need to change solution maintain etc.

Or if a hardware spoil will it be more hassle to change and remove. I am referring to the general public not the elite from here. Cost concern actually didnt pop up that often cos they knows it pays to look good. (Watercooling is consider extreme high end)

IMHO it's about implementing one of the easier way in delivering better performance and increase heat dissipation, reduction in noise acoustics and secondary aesthetics.

Bad as in setting up, maintenance and the GPU blocks need to be replaced when future GPUs are launch.

Come come :D

I'm awaiting for my little Intel 750 HHHL brown box to come too. :)

Still got enough PCIe slots for another Titan X with my Intel HHHL SSD :D still can fall back to my 4x Intel LAN (2x1GbE, 2x10GbE), what more can i ask for?
