Long term issue is Bo gay...
i went with titanium ( most functional ), since molar ( at the back - no one see except ur wife or small 3 )Ya... they use premium implant... and it's 8K each...
Wah didn't know can fall offMany years ago, I spent more than 10k plus on 2 implants and both fell off after a while.
You need to check with your dentist if you have enough bone to support the implants otherwise go for dentures.
What's the normal timeline? Did you all have any issues with eating while waiting for the section to heal?
What is the damage?i went with titanium ( most functional ), since molar ( at the back - no one see except ur wife or small 3 )

There shouldn't be any pain, other than the ant-bite discomfort of the anesthesia injection, if the dental specialist is a good one.
*with modern dental advancement, most if not all dental treatments should be relatively painless. If a dentist causes pain = one is likely in the wrong hands.
**I was so fearful of deep gum cleaning (infection due to receding gum) before I went for it. Was super surprised that the process was relatively painless.
I have done 3 implants last year. A couple with bone graft. 1 of it is molar. Not sure if I can post the dental clinic here but the rates are reasonable and medisave claimable.
PM if need more info.
Recommend it.Anyone done a tooth implant before? For molar.
I have a broken molar and the dentist is suggesting this.
What was your personal experience like and what was the final overall cost?
Any long term issues?
I understand what you mean especially with current advancement in medical tech but the idea stills kinda spook me
My gum now also getting infection after my root canal like 10years ago, am thinking now should I redo my RC or just do implant?
Late 50sMay i know your age range with the need of bone graft (that I assume more for people above 60 years old)?
Yesi also got one molar tooth in upper left that broke since i was 18 years old,
broke half, did not have money to go dental to fix it, let it rot n continue to broke b chip off as years pass by, almost 10 years later, the gum start to inflammed, the tooth chip off until no more left, only left the leg in the root, so surgical removal n take out.
now is empty there, dentist also suggest tooth implant, but when i hear the price 3k after medisave , i siam far far away
Mine got metal crowning done and no crack on the molar.Deep clean your gum first.
If your crown oredi cracked, I would suggest just do implant else the infection will just keep recurring.
*crown will be more lasting if one can take good care of it, meaning avoid eating crispy, hard food to minimise gradually chipping the crown that eventually will chip/crack. So those who have more discipline maybe more suitable for root canal / crown route.
they say never do, the tooth from the left n right will one day also crooked , cause the middle no support.Yes
The main issue is expensive
Once you know the price, most likely will not do
