Do not use Nord VPN for your internet connection as it will slow you down as it can not support 10Gbps speed. I stop using this VPN after i sign up Homehub UltraSpeed. That is the latest firmware. Starhub never ask TP-Link to update the firmware. Please complain. The existing firmware is causing a lot of problem for 6Ghz wifi with 320Mhz channel and Starhub just refuse to ask TP-Link to update the firmware to resolve the issue. Affected users please complain loud loud to Starhub.
use vpn you say 10Gbps speed? do you have a sense of what is vpn and 10Gbps?

I know it is not possible to get 10Gbps and even my office VPN is 1Gbps plan also traffic shading to 500Mbps only. That is why i stop using VPN for my personal use. Now i only visit secured site to keep myself safe. I also installed browser security to keep myself safe too. I am hoping to have TP-Link Homeshield in my router in the near future. Tomorrow Technician coming to install Beta firmware for me.

Tech came and just changed the ONT and said it is a known issue and my ONT is not updating its firmware. After tech gone, i got two intermittent disconnection so i called Starhub support again.

So your issue is really with TP-Link EB810v and not the Nokia ONT.

What kind of devices get intermittent disconnection? Are they wireless device or wired device?

Any device on the internet like watch TV from android TV box then see a window that mention that i have no internet access and then 15 seconds later the internet is back again. My work laptop suddenly wifi drop off then reconnect again. Good router is like that one? Ahh Ahh. Gave up la. I suggest SH to throw it into the sea and introduce new router.

Mine I got no issue but my set is rather new.
However I am very disappointed with the WIFI signal.
Not sure how is yours configure like.

1) Is band steering turn on?
2) MLO is turn on/off?

Both these setting I have turn off.
The range this EB810V have is also rather short and weak.
Really up to you if you think this router is trash than sell off get a WIFI 6 router.

I use a old Linksys router to act as access point for WIFI 2.4ghz and 5ghz signal
since this TP-link is rather incapable to handle older WIFI standards.

You have used this EB810v for quite a while and last time you seemed to have no issues with WiFi 6 devices and your StarHub TV+ Pro (Android TV box).

Kind of strange now you have issues with the TV box and your work laptop (WiFi 7 enabled).

Maybe you want to carry out factory reset of your EB810v and set up again. You can choose to disable MLO if you suspect that is causing the issue.

It could also be due to aging of this particular unit. Since TP-Link offer 4 years of warranty, you may want to try to get a replacement unit to see if that helps or not. If that does not help, then give up ...

Yes wifi 6 and 6e no issue but wifi 7 just can not make it. MLO on but channel bonding off. Wifi signal very strong -44 signal strength 3m away.

I see.

In that case just disable MLO to see if that helps.

Based on my testing, 5GHz+6GHz MLO is in general not faster than 6GHz alone.

For my Archer BE805, I enable 5GHz+6GHz MLO and no issues. Take note I disabled 2.4GHz from the MLO. Default is 2.4GHz+5GHz+6GHz MLO. It also takes quite a few updates for the Archer BE805 to have relatively stable MLO support.

Like Xiaofan mentioned turn off MLO.
MLO combine all channel 2.4GHZ, 5GHZ and WIFI 7 together which
causes issues.

I turn off MLO as it keeps dropping signal.

True and for my case slower because the link speed 508 mbps and SH say IP issue.

How to turn off?

Inside the router setting?
You have to log in using a PC than turn it off.
BTW have you run Setup before?

Cuz during Setup using PC browser it will ask you if you want it to turn on/off.
PS I don't rely everything on SH to do the setting. 😅

I understand now. Disable the SSID for MLO.
