i have problem with EB810v i try to hard reset but still cannot

Have you tried.
- Power off the unit wait a while.
- Power on the unit wait till the router configure itself than TP-Link logo appear.
- Try reset again by poking the reset hole using a toothpick.

If really cannot than have to RMA.
For RMA/Service you will need the invoice.
I just hope is not a case of second hand router. :s22:

You can try email Convergent System if they can help you.
But without invoice I not sure they can help or not.

Hello, the firmware version remains unchanged after updating. May I know if i missed out any steps? Do I need to do a factory reset. Thanks.

Don't worry a lot are like you.
They thought router is plug and play, buy from Challenger than plug in.
While in fact you need to configure and run the setup.

Second hand set will be more troublesome as some do not reset their router
before selling.
For me I will always reset first than I sell.

For setup wise use traditional band like 2.4ghz, 5ghz or WIFI 6/7.
MLO band is a band that combine all 2.4ghz, 5ghz and WIFI6/7 together.
Which in my testing is pretty useless.
Actually today i tried again , cause my setup is as such,

At DB , M1 6gb user ,huawei ONT -> be805 -> eb810v ( all via RJ45) my eb810v can work.

But when i tried huawei ONT -> eb810v i get a ! error no connection no matter how i tried also cannot , direct RJ45 link. Is it somehow eb810v locked the signal with M1 or huawei ONT therefore it will only somehow work if i connect it with my Be805 since it will talk to Tp link product ?

Wait up to 30 mins for your ISP to give your eb810v a new IP address. Happens when switching any device at the ONT

then in this case should i plug in 2 router into ont ? 1 at 10gb ,1 at 1gb lan port ? or i can only plug in 1 router into ont (10gb) at 1 time ?

If its only 1 router at 1 time , if i switch back to be805 do i need to wait again for the 30 mins reassign ip or it will just recognise my device ?

Not likely if the EB810V is under warranty send back for replacement.
Most likely faulty set, pros and cons of buying a second hand set.

For XGS-PON ONT, only the 10Gbe port is active, so only one at a time.

I believe your EB810v is okay. Just need to be a bit patient. Usually you do not need need 30 minutes, more like 15 minutes.

Shutdown the Archer BE805 and EB810v. It is better to power off the ONT as well.

Then wait for 15 minutes.

Power up the ONT and EB810 together and see if that helps.

In any case, I do not recommend non StarHub users to get EB810v.

So far I have not seen recent reports that users outside of StarHub network has got firmware updates.

I asked starhub and m1 in the meanwhile, starhub says they dont lockdown the set.

M1 reply was try turning off the ONT and wait for like 10mins or so to clear the IP and then turn on to try see if it works. So again not a direct plug and play thing i thought to be. And yeah the 1gb lan ports is all inactive as mention by their technical only the 10gb port is valid. Thank you for help i shall do it later when im free.

For this i did update mine firmware from the app aginet so maybe can try if those didnt managed to.
