Just want to share that I am on My Republic, purchased an EB810v from carousell, and I am able to update firmware via Aginet software. Didn’t notice what was the original build, new build is 250821.

MyRepublic is kind of expected to be fine as it shares most of the same backend infrastrure as Starhub, at least for the XGS-PON based current plans.

BTW, MyRepublic also issues HB710 to the users, which is also a TP-Link Service Provider models, and it can be interchangable with Starhub issued HB710. In fact, my HB710 purchased from Starhub Jurong Point Shop says it is a MR version.

Have been following up with Starhub and TP-Link on future firmware update but the same situation is happening whereby they are just pushing the responsibility on each other.

When I raised to Starhub about the intermittent disconnection, they advised that it might be hardware issue (despite having already switched the unit once) and want to send someone down again but will charge me if there is no hardware issue.

For context, have been on beta firmware shared by TP-Link since Jan. Last time I have signing with Starhub and to use TP-Link routers.

intermittent disconnection on WIFI?
Check:
1) Disable MLO channel.
MLO feature causes issue than making the WIFI better.
Cuz all the channel are merged into one.
2) Disable Band steering.

Check if your router have these two enabled.
Cuz mine is working properly but I disabled these two settings.

Already switched off the 2.

The disconnections only occur on selected devices like LG OLED TV, PS5, Xbox and selected smart appliances like Nespresso etc. Might be a firmware compatibility issue.

My solution for the compatibility issues of WiFi 7 routers and legacy or IoT devices (I am not so much into IoT devices): to add another AP

My Starhub 5Gbps setup
1) Main wireless router: HB710 with four SSIDs: MLO, 6GHz, 5GHz and 2.4GHz SSIDs

2) Secondary AP: Huawei AX3 Pro with separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSID, mainly for legacy devices

intermittent disconnection on WIFI?
Check:

Already disabled long ago after i read but still the same. I keep getting call back that keep deferring my case. Starhub poor service.

That will be an interesting change. Let's see.

BTW, now M1 Archer BE805 (consumer model ) is mostly out of stock. They replaced with EB832 (service provider models), kind of downgrade in terms of features (but they charge one dollar less now for monthly top-up for 6Gbps/10Gbps plan without router bundle).

M1 issued Archer BE230 (free for 3Gbps plan) is also mostly out of stock, replaced with EB210 Pro (downgrade in terms of firmware features).

Kind of good (usually cheaper than corresponding consumer models) and bad (less firmware features, less frequent firmware updates, less technical support).

Amazon eero is now offered by eight, SIMBA and VQ.

The router look very very basic la. HB811 lacks a lot of things. Processor only 1.8

The set I got it directly from service centre not through Starhub.
I will see if the WIFI disconnecting issue is still there.
But a word of advice please do not ownself replace the EB810V.
For whatever reasons after I replace the router, my home internet went
down for about half an hour.
I have to call Starhub for assistance, they did something on the ONT
side than the EB810V was working properly.
Cuz the EB810V wasn't able to detect any IP address on the ONT.
Is very strange issue in the past I have never encounter such issue.
If I want to swap or replace router I can do it without encountering any issue.

That is the reason why i dare not buy my own router. I hope TP-Link will update the firmware to resolve the issue.

Not supported by either Starhub, Singtel or TP-Link. You are on your own.

Recent reports seem to indicata the Singtel has upgraded HB611-SGST firmware and the above may not work any more.

It will be shown offline in Archer router even though it's in the easymesh list.

Tried asking TP-Link support and was given this reply

i try before HB611 link to BE230 easymesh is fully compatible

The prev firmware can link too. but new one like cannot
