Yes its a Singtel exclusive. Specs are comparable. But between the 2 i prefer the HB810 for its compact size and downloable firmware

HB810 is a Service-Provider model, you can't get it off the shelf

if you want it, try Carousell

just an advice, get the Consumer Model instead of the Service-Provider;)

It should work as both support TP-Link EasyMesh.

However, it may not be a good idea if you want Singtel to support you.

I will say that is a cheaper and good alternative.

Both will not be supported by Singtel though: so you are on your own in terms of the mesh solution.
HB810 (Singtel) + HB710 (Starthun or MR)
HB810 (Singtel + Archer BE805 (consumer model)

I just got the HB810 installed. A few things I notice

1. WIFI signal strength is not that great. For example, I have a one of the mesh devices in my living room and the common bedroom right next to the living room like -69 signal strength using NetSpot and that's for a 2.4 Ghz band.

Any guidance on ways to improve? I've already tried adjusting channel and band and see no big difference.

2. In addition to the WIFI SSID that I configured, each mesh device broadcast out it's own WIFI SSID. For example SINGTEL-496E-MLO or SINGTEL-4018-MLO. I assume this is for some kind of MLO optimization but I even tried to disable MLO and the signals are still there. Doesn't this impact congestion due to using same band and channel?

3. Trying to use MLO the signal is very low no matter how close I sit to the unit. I can't get this to work at all so MLO is just disabled.

Search for the old posts. I believe it is mentioned that the 2.4 Ghz wireless performance is bad. I got a similar experience.

1. disable Band-Steering
2. for all Frequencies (2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, 6Ghz, MLO), select it as 'Auto' for best usage environment
.......
Thanks for the tips.

1. Band-steering has already been disabled. I noticed enabling it disconnected my smart devices occasionally.

2. After testing different bands, your'e right Auto produces the best results.

3. I am on the latest HB810v1_0.7.0 3.0.0 v6095.0 Build 241209 Rel.20457n.bin.

Has anybody successfully configured MLO to work with good results?

wait for further FWs for the band-steering issue. tp-link is aware of this
as of now, best practice is to disable band-steering...

i've tried using MLO and was able to get around 3.8Gbps for Download & 3.5Gbps for Upload, over Wireless.
am using S24 Ultra...

I ready somewhere MLO is only working on the main router. Also this router broadcast out it's own MLO network which I'm unsure what is being used for.

Hi bro, any difference for you with just 6GHz and MLO? Is the former still faster?

I just signed up with M1 6Gbps plan, I opted the TP-Link BE805 since I have the Deco xe75 pro pair setup with 6GHz band wireless backhaul for my current 1Gbps network.

Questions.
1. With criteria of least changes to my current setup.
BE805 <-Wired-> xe75 (main-> AP mode) <----wireless ---> xe75 (satellite)
Will above topology work ?
.
I will not tear apart the current deco mesh network first , keep it will double NAT , only after the main router properly setup then change that the main deco unit to AP mode.

Don't want to spend more to get another be805, I do have a left over unopened acher ax72 with me but this is dual band router which I don't want to use the 5ghz band for wireless backbone with easymesh connection.

What is the retail price of m1 dumped BE805 ?

6GBPS is overkilled for me, just number bragging game, I only have 2 wifi 6e devices, no wifi 7 device yet.
