Great news! Customers signing up for a new TPG service can now port-in their existing Postpaid mobile number to TPG. For more details on TPG Mobile Number Porting service, visit http://bit.ly/TPG-Porting.

Note: Mobile Number Porting request is only available for new TPG sign ups.

Haha. We need circle/downtown/EW/NS line. Thomson line not important at this point

I feel like it's understandable ba. For Thomson line they have the time to build in the infrastructure before the line becomes operational. For infrastructure on existing MRT lines, probably super hard to expedite. There are various telcos who might want to do upgrading on their current network too, and the only times they can work on it is the short period after midnight till before the train starts running again. Also SMRT might need to do maintenance work as well. So it will probably take some time for them to provide comparable coverage underground.

For me i think it has been generally reliable enough that I might keep using it as a spare number if the price is right, since 2GB per day is still quite useful. When I'm underground, just use another line. :s13:

During trial I’m find with no network coverage underground. But as a paid customer with a single SIM card device. I’m sorry. TPG has to try harder to secure customer like me.

Some mrt station underground also bo network don’t talk about tunnel with limited access time.

I don't think TPG will have the nerve to charge for service when they don't have signal in MRT. Maybe a clue as to when they will start charging for the plan is when they start having coverage underground...
