How do I select seats on TRA ? Went to their website to book, but cant see any seat selection.

You cannot assign seat if you book on their website. But you can ask TRA ticket staff to assign the seat if you buy the ticket on spot
I figured hsr to be high speed rail, but what's tra?

Wonder can buy over the counter 1-2day in advance for either TRA or HSR tickets?
I used to buy my TRA tickets over the counter a day before I travel, just wonder if this is still possible?

Train-wise if it is not peak then not as bad.
But I will not bet on local train unless you have lots of time to play around with.
