Is it ok to buy HDD from them? It seems that they have the cheapest price.

tradepac's practice of adding $30 to mobo/cpu is always there. unless you let them earn from ram and harddisk, they wont give you the cheapest price stated on the pricelist if you just buy mobo/cpu/psu, or some casing.

of course, those listed prices are usually cheapest in whole of sls, even if they quote you another price with lesser discount from srp, it is usually on par with the lowest other shops can give if you buy components separately.

Nope. They arent. And all the bosses rarely appear. So far i have only seen tradepac and best bargain.

Tradepac there is a guy whom is extremely stern looking face with tons of golden bracelet and golden necklace. Wears quite a number of gold rings also. Lol

even if self build, better make sure you know the set of box contents for your purchase... once, i have to go back to a shop just because someone "misplaced" a special video connector dongle that can split to different video outputs!
shopping at sls is like going to the battlefield... you must be prepared to hustle if met with problematic shops...

Now msi no more seal le. Be it mobo or gpu. Been buying msi products. None with msi seal.

Last time got seal but distro break it to put in the warranty cards. So now I think they don't bother already because the customer will just complain and ask why the seal is broken.

Yeap. That includes the other 2 major brands.

They used to have seal and the shop got to give a seperate warranty card. But after which they decided to put inside the box. Some have warranty card. Some follow receipt.

In the end all follow receipt based.

I bought a DIY bundle's worth of components at Tradepac last year, so they gave me a combined receipt. What should I do about the receipt if I want to sell a part to someone?

Also, goondu me didn't check my plastic when I left the store.. had to come back another day and produce another receipt.. except that the first item costs my total price and the rest at 0. Should be okay right if sent for RMA?

Yes. Its fine. They still run their official chop as tradepac.

The receipt if you wanna sell your components. Just photocopy the receipt and sell it off.

Just make a copy of the receipt and give to the person. Try scan in colour.
