last time people complained ask TP to assemble their rigs but unused bundled accessories were not returned or went missing e.g. adapters, cables.

also heard complaints they might have tried to resell opened or returned products as bnib to other customers. Seals were broken or product showed signs of handling.

but I dunno how true these gossips are. Any comment from regular customers of TP on these allegations?

I think best is assemble yourself. Or take the parts and go elsewhere for fixing.

I saw the guy assembling all the pc on tjat small work area also stress. I only saw one indian guy installing all the parts so workmanship might not be there since he might be overloaded with work.

If you want to buy the cheapest in sls, then you have to take those risk lo.

I believe i did mentioned it somewhere in another thread.

Yes it is true that tradepac do not return unused stuffs like screws etc. Their wire management is a soso thing only. The only way is to be there take a good look at what they are doing instead. OR another way is to bring down to Nigel shop and assemble.

2nd one is TP as of from what i know till now it did not happen to me before. Selling broken seal i will always reject. Certain things are not sealed. Certain things are. Best to check first. If there is a seal, check if it is tampered. If it is another seal over a broken seal it is fine. If there is no seal then just check the items and items in the box are all inside.

I would recommend assembling it yourself. It's less complicated than assembling IKEA furniture and I don't trust those shops in putting the expensive stuff together.

The product was probably returned for a good reason. It was perhaps DOA from the factory, or the first customer overclocked or did not install the part properly n damaged it, then returned to shop.

If the product is OK, but the previous buyer changed his mind after opening the box in the shop to browse the contents still OK. I am not fussy over this. But if it is already a known dead or spoilt part being passed off as new, then this is unacceptable to me.

I actually saw one boy returning a motherboard to a shop a decade ago. That boy did not install a standoff in his casing n forcibly screwed e motherboard at the corner. The corner of the motherboard was bent 45 degrees! And he probably powered on n shorted e board too. Pretty crazy the ridiculous things that some customers do. Luckily e shop was kind enough to close one eye n give him a replacement. And some probably overclocked till something burned out n claim e part was DOA on day of purchase.

Forget the price lists! They are just a rough guide. Actually nobody pays those prices.

Somewhat new tactics they took since around the middle of last year...they suddenly were able/willing to undercut than their usual Fuwell/Laser-ish prices

You may see prices from bizgram is cheaper. But do you know that tradepac keep thier price list lol.

Ever been there and people are asking for quote, they will compare the prices from bizgram and undercut them lol.

as in DOA? sometimes unavoidable. My formula is boxed perfectly though no issues and anyway local warranty not a problem
