That is why they sell so cheap. They take all the small accessories, repackage and sell to recoup their margin. U walk around Sim Lim u will see all these "recycled" parts on sales in the backlane shop. :D

Cheers.

tradepac is for us to buy parts - not to build a com.

there are a handful of warning in here warning people to stay away unless you are experience to know what you need.

Even buy parts, would be wise to open up and check to ensure the necessary/spare cables are there before paying.

wanted to go to tradepac that day, but was quite uneasy so went to PCT instead. left my stuff (basically a whole rig) at the shop after purchase to find my logitech g700 mouse, came back the plastic bag was tied up for me but i still chked to make sure aniway, and everything was in order.

the staff quite honest and friendly... i guess i'd avoid tradepac and pay abit more to haf a peaceful slp at night

Had to go back and get all the parts of my previous casing that was makanded before I got it ready for sale (Haf 922 for sale now, in the marketplace). Best when buying at tradepac is to buy boxed, sealed stuff. Their sales service is crap, their aftersales service is even worse. They charged me $15 b4 to reset my cmos back when my n00b quotient was sky high and did a failed o/c.=:p

yeah, I see it mentioned very often that you should only go to Tradepac if you know what you are doing and what you want.

Sending your clueless friend to buy from Tradepac because you are too busy working is not a good idea.

I bought my Biostar A880G+ and x3 445 from Tradepac. They asked to me "top up" to get an Asrock 780 motherboard :) Fortunately, I know what I wanted.

p.s. did your friend manage to unlock his 955BE? I hear not so easy to unlock. x3 445 better deal because easier to unlock...

I don't understand why need to go that shop, never in my consideration before. Is it a lot cheaper? If not, might as well go to PCT, their price already low enough. Don't tell me go this shop because it's $5 cheaper for a $1000 system.

I think it's > $10 cheaper.
