orh..I'm taking the HSR from Taoyuan to Taipei..then TRA from Taipei to Hualien..

sorry..wanna ask a noob qn..coz i first time going to taiwan..for Shulin to Hualien, how do i get to Shulin? I noticed that at Taipei (Area), there's a station called Shulin..

Actually dont understand why wana take HSR from Taoyuan just to go Taipei??

For the experience isnt worth it, too short a distance too..Time wise isnt gonna be any faster than taking a direct bus like kuoguang to TMS anyway since u still gonna take u-bus from the airport to taoyuan HSR(About 15-20mins) then HSR to Taipei which is about 20mins..Adds up to about the same time the bus will take direct..Cost wise slightly higher..

There's a Shulin Station further down from Taoyuan Station..The best way to get there is by cab.. Taipei area is Hongshulin Metro Station as per calkel20.

Cab will be 1000nt or so. Bus be 130nt pax. U decide.

take bus good enough lahzz... the bus drivers in taiwan are as quick as cab drivers de haha

1) Yes. Metro/TRA/HSR around the same place

Hualien..Suggest that u book..Best is if can confirm return timing and book return together..Got discount also..Unless u dont mind standing on a nearly 3hrs journey.
