The transport burden should not be exclusive to his ministry alone. I think he felt lonely that others have not been helping him.

I guess he must have gotten plenty of verbal abuse and tongues wagging during all the MRT breakdown. Just look at the FaceBook comments, ST forum all lambasting him.

I guess he still wants to salvage his pride and ego, and leaves with dignity and with his head holding high. I can't say the same for a certain Khaw.

And I hope all the unkind comments directed towards him would stop once he leaves politics for good. I dunno him personally, but he sure is a dignified man.

Has a Transport Ministar, he has LTA to implement his policies.

LTA is to regulate and oversee SMRT and SBS Transit, but their relationship are so incestuous that it is ineffectual.
