Anyway for sharing.. I found this shop online..
This guy, Jason is friendly and humble.. he quoted me $200 for repair..

Sent from Samsung SM-T235 using GAGT

He may think that it is just motherboard spoil so say $200. You can try him and update us on the outcome.

It is only when the tech came and certify that the set is beyond repair then they can do that.

TV came back again. This time so far so good. Total downtime 1 month as samsung need to indent spares

Why broken? 32" Tv is so cheap now so not worth repairing. New 32" Tv is $300 to $400+ and this weekend there is a fair at Singapore Expo. Or u can visit Gaint MegaStore to buy 32" Tv like Philips, Akira and Sharp. Some with dvb-t2 digital tuner.

Hi Henry, thx for the response. I don't wish to buy a new TV immediately, I'm trying to fix if charges would be less.

In sg we are known for expensive and labour cost is high. Honestly the most expensive part of a Tv is the screen and just the screen can cost $300+ so may as well get a new one. Why got it broken? Kid did it? For kid always get your wife to look after. If it is not possible at least get a relative or inlaw to look after the kid. Maid can not look after kid, they can only do cleaning of the house and some can cook a bit.

I just repaired my TV. Replaced panel. So i think I am qualified to answer.

Henry Ng is right. The panel is almost the price to the TV. Plus Labour and delivery, total cost u can buy a new TV already. The figures were written clearly on my invoice. (mine is under warranty, so I din pay anything)

For reference, mine is a 2 year old 46" fhd led
Panel $750
Delivery $120
Labour $120
Everything plus GST close to $1K. This is about what I paid last time when I first bought the tv

Unlikely u can source the spares urself cos the manufacturers controls the stock.

Repairs Will be slow as the stock need to be indented. My downtime was 1 month

I saw on hardware store that they sell some nylon band to secure the TV. So in case the TV drop down from the console, the band will prevent the TV from dropping further . Alternately, u can mount on the wall. Safety is more important

$1,000 is like almost 60% of the price of a new set of 49" SUHD LED Tv. Because it is 47" so still ok.

Stock is control by manufacturer. Powerboard faulty. Earlier someone say ~ $200.
