Hi
I noticed my tv panel is coming off at the edges. Seems like glue coming off ?
Is this something serious or I can just use some diy glue myself ?
Tv is 3+ years Samsung QLED

My Mi TV 4S 55 which just went dead. It has no picture just blank screen. It has sounds coming out from the tv and the blacklight seems to be working viewing the holes from the back of the TV. The TV is just 1 year old++ when this happened so it's not covered under warranty. Very disappointed. May I know what could be the cause the issue and also what is the cost range to repair it? Thank you.

Check if there's any Youtube videos screen replacement for your model. My guess is its using high strength double sided tape.

Asking if anyone had experience with LG OLED Dead/Dark Pixels warranty support? Mind sharing your experiences.

I’m having a few clusters of dark pixels on the top edge of my LG C9 (under warranty till Dec 22).

Thanks.

Has anyone here tried to replace the LED backlight on their TV before? My LG 47 inch powers up, LG logo flashes for 1-2 seconds then everything goes black. Audio still works. did a google search and when I shine a torch light at the black screen, I can see the TV image. So it looks like the LED light have died but the screen itself still works.

Shopee seems to sell the LED for my model but wondering if it's as easy as some of the YouTube videos.

Update: Just had my LG C9 OLED panel replaced under warranty. So far no dead/dark pixels detected on new panel.

Called LG support yesterday, and arranged for service earlier today. Technician came down with a replacement panel and proceeded to replace panel after inspecting current panel. All in took him less than 20 minutes to finish the task.

hi all, not sure if I'm writing in the right place but hope someone can help!

I got an LG 55LM6700 Tv, which is really old... and recently my Singtel set top box stopped working on it. So I called Singtel and they sent a technicain down. He said that there is no issue with the Singtel box but it seems like my TV is not able to process the data as it is a 4k signal?

I tried using my Mi TV stick with it and it works fine, tried an Android TV Box and it works fine too. Only with the Singtel Tv box it doesn't send any signal through.

Wondering if getting a new 4k tv would solve the problem and if its some BS from Singtel?

I've swapped the ports to the other HDMI but they all don't work too... So no idea why it stopped working
Cant help u much bro, i returned my mio tv box earlier this year and got a android tv box. 1 month of my mio subscription already can buy a box. Subscribe to netflix or other services is much cheaper than mio tv. Maybe just tell singtel if they dont change the box, u will cancel the subscription

By the way, my tv is not 4k either before i return the box. It was working till then.

The TV noise signal looks analogue, If the TV is very old, then its polarized film is degraded.
The photos showing the static is just me switching to another empty signal input channel, just to to show the white patch.

But yes, the TV has been in use for 12 years already so I suppose it could be that the polarised film is degraded. Not sure if it will become even bigger after prolong use, so far the white patch is not very visible if watching directly in front the screen.

It will gradually getting bigger, and eventually affect the view quality. time to consider a new TV.
or you can replace the polarised film.
