Check if there's any Youtube videos screen replacement for your model. My guess is its using high strength double sided tape.Hi
I noticed my tv panel is coming off at the edges. Seems like glue coming off ?
Is this something serious or I can just use some diy glue myself ?
Tv is 3+ years Samsung QLED

Please claim warranty.Asking if anyone had experience with LG OLED Dead/Dark Pixels warranty support? Mind sharing your experiences.
I’m having a few clusters of dark pixels on the top edge of my LG C9 (under warranty till Dec 22).
Thanks.

Did u try another hdmi porthi all, not sure if I'm writing in the right place but hope someone can help!
I got an LG 55LM6700 Tv, which is really old... and recently my Singtel set top box stopped working on it. So I called Singtel and they sent a technicain down. He said that there is no issue with the Singtel box but it seems like my TV is not able to process the data as it is a 4k signal?
I tried using my Mi TV stick with it and it works fine, tried an Android TV Box and it works fine too. Only with the Singtel Tv box it doesn't send any signal through.
Wondering if getting a new 4k tv would solve the problem and if its some BS from Singtel?
I've swapped the ports to the other HDMI but they all don't work too... So no idea why it stopped workingDid u try another hdmi port
The TV noise signal looks analogue, If the TV is very old, then its polarized film is degraded.Anyone has any idea what is the issue that made my TV screen has this rather big white patch?

Cant help u much bro, i returned my mio tv box earlier this year and got a android tv box. 1 month of my mio subscription already can buy a box. Subscribe to netflix or other services is much cheaper than mio tv. Maybe just tell singtel if they dont change the box, u will cancel the subscriptionI've swapped the ports to the other HDMI but they all don't work too... So no idea why it stopped working
The photos showing the static is just me switching to another empty signal input channel, just to to show the white patch. The TV noise signal looks analogue, If the TV is very old, then its polarized film is degraded.
It will gradually getting bigger, and eventually affect the view quality. time to consider a new TV.The photos showing the static is just me switching to another empty signal input channel, just to to show the white patch.
But yes, the TV has been in use for 12 years already so I suppose it could be that the polarised film is degraded. Not sure if it will become even bigger after prolong use, so far the white patch is not very visible if watching directly in front the screen.
I think will take the opportunity to get a new TV instead, since it's already more than 10 years and served its purpose already. Thanks for your input, will observe the patch issue for a while more.It will gradually getting bigger, and eventually affect the view quality. time to consider a new TV.
or you can replace the polarised film.
