everything is long distance to me if i cant stream netflix HD smooth and youtube 4k fast enough:o:o=:p /jk

i assumed, from field folks who are in the networking line, that Aruba would be the go to choice if possible ? :s11:

Can try Ruckus Unleashed series, "controller-less". One AP will still be the director. Look out for online sales or 2nd hand units on ebay.

The only little drawback now that my load balancing is working on my Cisco rv340 is that it's limited to 930mbps throughout, so I can never maximize my vq 1gbps + m1 500mbps haha.

IF ONLY the udm pro has load balancing (I heard in beta firmware they added load balancing then removed it.. Hardware not stable or something). The beast of a router supports 3.5gbps and would be perfect for future proofing..

Oh well

I am running dual wan, Singtel + MR. MR at failover and load balance, Singtel at failover.

I direct default VLAN to MR, other misc VLAN (Wifi, IOT, CCTVs) to Singtel.

I am running pfsense on a custom m-itx box. You can get a mini pc from taobao and run it too. Get at least 4GB of ram. Beat most OTS routers/gateway on the market.

Actually I have an Intel NUC i7 6core.but I doubt that I can do dual wan well if it only has one gigabit lan port and if I add external lan ports via USB 3.0 right
