Have been wearing raw mij since feb.. Haven't seen a single bit of fade at all. Uniqlo raw and indigo is of true crap quality. I doubt the first wash will do any difference. If first wash can't fade, will throw away and buy APC liao.

was thinking the same thing though mine is only 1 month +.

You shouldve just gotten apc from the start liao.

my uniqlo mij are now 6 months plus with 2 washes and a soak and they have reasonable fades. those jeans do fade. just that it takes alot more time and activity.

I'll try to get pics up once I get my hands on a camera. Fades are nowhere near amazing but there's definitely visible whiskers and lines coming out from the inner thigh.

i had 1 x cold soak at 3 months, 2 x 60 degree machine wash at 4 months and 6 months. mostly because i couldn't stand the mud and grease at the bottom of the jeans.

i'm trying to wear them everyday. did all sorts of random stuff in them like skating, cycling and gymming in them.

i agree that they're extremely stubborn to fade and i'm very tempted to get a pair of pbjs. but i also really want to see what these will turn out into maybe in another 6 months time. they are good if you like the dark colour to stay though.
