i believe yes. i had my ciems for refit plus another iem for reshell and i gave them 1 impression. UM will be creating a cast of your impressions - then they can use it for both reshells.

Hi all, I have a UE Superfi 5 Pro that's about 4 years old. I'm thinking of reshelling it but I'm worried the drivers won't last long considering I have owed it for a few years. Will you reshell or get a new CIEM?

I would suggest you to go for a brand new IEM/CIEM instead of the re-shell option. Since you had the UE Superfi 5 Pro for 4 long years, it should be a good time to consider getting a upgrade that can give you more significant improvement in sound.

The thing is I currently own the UE900 but I would like to own a pair of CIEM. Which CIEM would you recommend that has significant sound improvement over the UE900?

Mmmm...Not sure how much you are willing to spend for a new CIEM but i would say at the very least the Unique Melody Mage @ $799 or the Merlin @ $999. We do have the universal fit versions for auditioning so feel free to drop by any our stores to check them out.:s12:

I'm currently using my reshelled TF10 and its drivers are 6 years old and still going strong. It's yr preference though, and since adding drivers can equate to the price of a new CIEM.

is it possible to take my drivers from triplefi and westone3 and combine it into one custom? Just asking.

I wana ask the UM mentor users here that hw u tink of their services n the ciems when u collect it at stereo, any problems wit the colours or fittings etc?
