YES YES YES! My Merlins finally arrived after exactly 5 weeks!

Colour is correct, artwork looks great, fit and seal is perfect, balance is correct, but I need more time to find back the wow factor when I first tried the demo units.

Overall very happy with the build quality and delivery is within the stipulated 6 weeks.

Pictures and impressions later after more a-b sessions with my 5 year old livewires duals.

Happy that you're happy, bro! We'll wait for the photo/s. Enjoy! :D

Here are the pictures!

Colour Scheme:
Left Shell = Blue
Left Tip = Dark Smoke
Left Face = Light Smoke + EVA Unit 01

Right Shell = Red
Right Tip = Orange
Right Face = Light Smoke + EVA Unit 02

Mock-up:
Merlin%20Mockup.png

Actual from front:

Actual from top:
P8236539.JPG

Actual from back:
P8236546.JPG

Balanced Armatures:
P8236516.JPG

Dynamic Bass Driver:
P8236519.JPG

Minor grumblings: the right orange tip could have been more translucent to match the left translucent smoke tip, but it's going into my ears anyway.

I thought light smoke face would be cool to see the innards of the IEM, but now i think perhaps a opaque white / black / silver background would have made the custom artwork pop out abit more.

And these are really fingerprinty! My old livewires had a matt black face with the plug in the middle so no fingerprints and no art.

BUT OVERALL, build quality is really good, shell had no visible bubbles or flaws. Artwork turned out well, right colour, size and proportion.

Fit is really perfect, slipped right in painlessly and created a vacuum, seal won't break even if i do the chewing motion. it made me realise how airy and unvacuum my old livewires are, perhaps my ears changed shape over the last 5 years.

Enough build and aesthetics! Sound next!

Nice to know your feedbacks, burping_boy! We are happy that you look satisfied with how your CIEM looks like especially with the built quality, fitting and its isolation. Truly the good qualities that we look for in a CIEM. :)

No matter how tough, people will always have a soft spot in their heart.

Just like how this 6-driver CIEM rocks its Smoke color with a touch of Pink.

Unique Melody Miracle in Smoke faceplate and shell, Baby Pink tips with UM Metal Insert.

Hi. I got a question. Is there any universal iem that sounds similar to the um mage.l?

Hi! You actually have the option for a universal fit on Unique Melody models. In this case, you can have the UM Mage with a universal fit. Other customers would prefer this as they find having the ear impressions a bit troublesome or they would want to sell it later. Perhaps you can consider trying our demo first, we have them in universal fit. :)

Other options though would be the Shure SE535 and Westone W40.

Any extra for the Dalbergia Wood faceplate other than the $60?

This month's UM promo for Aero/Mage only free shipping?

Only $60 charge (per pair) will be applied for Wood/ Metal faceplate and yes, UM Aero and Mage have a free shipping for this month (usual $50). :)
