Hi, anyone had any luck buying thru USJ website direct (Japan & not the English one) using a SG-issued credit card? Care to share how you did it and which card you used?

Thanks & much appreciated!

The english website usjticketing.com that USJ link you to is also a reseller managed by JTRWeb LTD. So its not official actually.

Buying direct from the Japanese website is official and u get instant confirmation... but the process is more arduous (in Japanese, setting up member login, etc). The only key issue now it seems, after I did some research, is it does not take foreign-issued credit cards. Some reddit comments claim they managed to & some don't ... using US/Aussie credit cards. So just wondering if anyone here managed to do so using a SG credit card and share their experience?

Oops... sorry for piggybacking on your thread w my own question...

But to your question, yup, tickets on sale at USJ website and klook about two months ahead.

I can't answer though if 1 or 2 days needed coz you need to look at what you want to achieve at the park and also your group demo (e.g. little kids, walking speed, etc). But yeah, express pass is a must.

I see some people take 2 days so one day just focus on Harry Potter/SNW and another day just to explore the rest of the park.

I doubt any pricing difference but for both usj english or usj japanese, have to also see forex.

I book my usj tickets few days back on klook once my date opens up, typically it's cat D price which is 9800 for adults, 6400 for kids. so 26k yen total and i paid 240.75 on klook which works out to $1 to $107.99 rate..ticket with QR came in within an hour and am able to add into usj app next day after 5am..

If your son is independent can take the single rider line. Faster than the normal line.

Did you take the express add-on on weekday?

No. I went in February when there's less visitors. Within the day managed 4-5 attractions. Managed to get Super Mario timed area pass through the app when I got in.

Hi, May I know what is a timed area pass?

I'm waiting for Nov 2023 ticket to release and most probably priority is visit the Super Mario and maybe some kiddy ride, therefore very unlikely to get express pass but considering early access pass.
