To answer some of the questions here

1. Visa can be added to SimplyGo now as it is under pilot trial. Just try to register regardless whether you received the invitation sms from uob or not

2. Mobile payment for Visa not available yet, only physical card tapping

3. Transactions is eligible for and counted towards minimum card spend

4. Transactions should be eligible and counted for the card spend for one account bonus interest as it is still a valid visa transaction (this one i cannot confirm)

Source T&Cs @ https://www.uob.com.sg/onetransit/

Functionality for Visa mobile payments will come at a later date. You will receive an email confirmation from TransitLink on successful registration.

*Enjoy up to 5% cash rebate based on a retail spend of S$2,000 and min. 5 transactions per statement month for each qualifying quarter to earn the quarterly cash rebate of S$300. When the ABT for UOB MasterCard started in Aug 17, I signed up and used it. However, it didn't count towards ONE Account Interest Eligible Spend. That was Aug 17, not sure about now. But I won't count on ABT / SimplyGo to hit the minimum spending.

based on your calculation, it has total annual interest $1827 vs $1789.46 difference
31 151.98
28 137.28
31 151.98
30 147.08

31 151.98
30 147.08
31 151.98
30 147.08
31 151.98

Not sure what you mean. But here goes :

$1789.46 is bonus interest
~$1827 is total interest (for $75k)
The difference of $1827 - $1789.46 is the 0.05% base interest based on $75k

The blue colour UOB debit MasterCard. In a nutshell, ABT didn't qualify for One account bonus interest.

Maybe ABT qualifies One Visa credit card rebate but whether it qualifies for One account bonus interest now is another unknown.

It wasn't eligible for interest in Aug 2017. Maybe it is now.

Personally, I won't consider using ABT for interest as public transport falls under government institutions and services. Better to be safe than sorry.

If you have only missed a little, can write in to appeal. Heard they are quite ok one.
May I know where to write to?

My spending for the past 3 months is 1054, 941 and 998. Got chance for uob to give me $100 instead of $50?

I usually call in, they always allow me to. However that’s because only 1 month lack of maybe $50, but other months are excess of hundreds.

No guarantee on your scenario since in total, your total spending for the 3 months are below 3k lol. They might give a chance if it’s your first request, probably not if it’s always like this.
