Are you saying these cannot be paid by GIRO or that these even if can GIRO are not counted ?

I believe most of what you mentioned cannot be paid by GIRO. If any bill can be paid by GIRO it is counted.

Typically these have GIRO:
- Income tax
- Insurance (but might lose discounts you get for 1 lump sum payment)
- Telco bills
- Credit card bills (each, so one way is just to apply for many cards and make a transaction each month)

Many yrs ago used UOB one card as main CC until half year of not using and then UOB refused to waive off the annual fee, so cancel it.

Recently thinking if want to get this One acct and CC, need some help from current users on the eligible spendings to qualify for rebates.

Questions: are these eligible spendings if use One CC?

1) Insurance (e.g. Prudential, Income, Tokio, Aviva) - saw a few people talking abt insurance payment for Prudential, may I know how u all pay via CC? Is it must download app or via their website?
If use AXS to pay counted?

2) Grabpay - both mobile wallet and grab rides
3) Food delivery, online shopping
4) income tax (how u all pay by credit card?)
5) Some general insurance like travel and car
6) Telco bills

lol i bodoh confused it with cc deduction rather than direct bank deductions
how about for smartly/stashaway? considered giro? because they directly deduct from my bank account

so far if you read the T&C only YOLO has the new exclusion for Grab wallet top up.

YOLO T&C
https://www.uob.com.sg/personal/cards/credit/yolo/uob-yolo-tnc.pdf
“Grab Transactions” means Transactions with Grab Taxi Holdings Pte Ltd and its affiliated
companies, but excluding Grab mobile wallet top-ups with effect from 30 November 2019.

ONE T&C
https://www.uob.com.sg/assets/pdfs/one_card_full_tnc.pdf
"Grab transactions with description “GRAB*” under Grab Taxi Holdings
Pte Ltd and its affiliated companies "
Page 3

By these terms the ONE card still gives you rebate on Grab wallet top up. Grab top up shows up with the same description as other Grab transactions, says "Grab Singapore SG" on my statement

So it means that UOB one card still eligible for grab top up, since the tnc is not worded like the yolo card tnc.

But better top up as much as possible while still eligible, i dont think UOB will be so generous for long...

1) Eligible, use the insurance company cc giro form. Note that AXS payment not eligible.

2) Eligible

3) Eligible

4) Income tax payment is used as one of the giro payment for the one account, not the one card

5) Eligible

6) Eligible

Better standby the replacement card... YOLO is still $60 max rebate right
