Hi all, what 3 giro can we do? I can only think of 2 now. My phone bill and UOB one CC. Possible to giro for other bank CC?

when this started? HDB parking by GIRO will not qualify now? Please do not mix up with charging to credit card and GIRO and provide link to what you posted.

Sorry for the confusion. HDB maintenance fee and seasonal parking are still considered under GIRO transaction.

after your earlier post i went to check, no updates about govt payment exclusion for GIRO. For UOB one card, this exclusion is not recent and is already there for quite sometime already.

Not counted. Need to be Giro for bill payment for recurring month payment.

I do 5 giros.

1) HDB season parking.
2) HP bill
3) Insurance monthly premiums
4) UOB CC bill
5) IRAS Income Tax (do note income tax got 1 or 2 months no payment, i can't remember whether its May-July period)

If your next bill for the 3 giros or any one giro only come in Jan and the due date for payment is in Feb, then NO cos giro will only trigger in Feb. If you next bill come is Dec 3rd week and is due for payment in Jan, then giro will trigger in Jan.

What are the 3 giros? U need to check the bill to confirm giro payment is stated to confirm giro will be triggered on due date. It depends on the billing organisation's readiness to update their system to use giro payment.

Can i ask if the UOB One Credit Card expires, do i have to inform all the billing organisations one by one? Or it would be still debited since the Credit Card number is the same (but different expiry date)?

Can insurance and utility bills still be eligible for rebate?

my next bill should be in 1st week of Jan and due date on the 3rd week. the 3 giros are:

-income tax
-dbs cc
-uob one

all 3 show under ibanking as "active" giros now but the bills will only come in 1st week of Jan. To play safe, maybe i should only fund my account on 1 Feb?
