Hello all lao jiao heres :s12::s12: I just started my journey with UOB one acc. wanna ask a few qns regarding the giro + card spending to hit the highest interest rate.

Is it possible to hit the requirement when i have
1) Fundsupermart 200/mth giro (deduct every 8th of the month)
2) Singtel (account 1) 10dollar/mth giro
3) Singtel (account 2) 10dollar/mth giro

1) 500dollar/mth on my prudential plan linked paid thru my debit card.

If this is the case, does it mean i just transfer 720 dollar/mth to my UOB one account on every 1st of the month so i will make sure the amount in my account is always 75,000?

Is there any requirement that i need to do? Or any ways to make the account auto run, just need to go in every month to transfer the interest out xD

Set up a Giro from your main operating account to transfer the required amount to pay for your monthly UOB Giros. That way, your UOB One account is fully automated. That’s what I did for my UOB One account. Fuss free. Just have to Ensure I spend at least $500 on my UOB One credit card every month.

Insurance payments on UOB One Card will be excluded from the awarding of cash rebate but continue to be considered eligible spend to earn bonus interest on UOB One Account.

This is what I found from UOB website.

If you have a stable income and you feel their savings plan helps for the long run stay with it
That cost will be 400x 12= 4800/yr
Cutting out with the bonus on this spending after 15march 2020

Else, 14days grace period for any new plans
Cancel and ask for refund for this 1st mth of payment

Keeping uob one just for own cash savings (can see can touch/ flexible cash)
Bonus interest category is based on individual retail spending subject to exclusion tnc

Btw,the insurance still considered as eligible spend.

Obviously he not talking about 1st time. Issue was payment in end feb spill over to mar. Anyway if I were him, I would have anticipated this and do something about it before it happens

I am doubtful about the fund supermart, it is not one of the billing organisations https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.uob.com.sg/web-resources/corporate/pdf/corporate/transaction-banking/payable-solutions/BO-list.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjfocDfopToAhVSU30KHWs6De4QFjAAegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw2dFBtGNBZ4b9yCz-XDspfa
