Bank called to inform that they had accepted my appeal by letting me make up the shortfall of that particular spending during this month. Would be better that they accept the transaction as eligible and credit the interest, but still better than not getting anything though.

Great.....Still give chance.

Not sure if discussed before. Anyone successfully got the $80 bonus for new sign-ups of UOB One Account? Supposed to be credited after 6 months.

Newbie question here, if I submit GIRO application for 3 UOB Credit cards, do these count as 3 separate GIRO transactions for the bonus earning rate?

Paid sgh with uobone card counted the $500?
Did you also credit your salary to UOB one account?

It's either
A) credit salary + min 500/mth or
B) 3 GIRO

Probably not...

Paid sgh with uobone card counted the $500?

Polyclinics don't count so I dun assume this will - falls under govt related svcs. Should fall under new exclusions from May. Check out the T&C on the exclusions, they have revised them with an updated long table chart on excluded merchants with ambiguity on some open-ended description.
If u have already made the payment, u can call in to check. Good luck!
Do let us know the outcome. =)

Category: Hospitals

8062 – Hospital and medical fees (eg Singapore General Hospital, Mount Alvernia, Mount Pleasant etc

I saw sgh or private hosp considered as mcc 8062

Looked the uob one, no exclusion for it, but I also think sgh is also considered govt

those using SP Giro, take note of the Govt's $100 credit in Jul or Aug ... it may impact min Giro trigger amount

yes, 'not elsewhere classified' damn powderful to use, my Fengshui online course falls under this category - Not really School and Education services (8299), but by using 'not elsewhere classified', grey can become black and white. :s22:
