Sometimes what is written in T&C is just to deter people, but if you actually try it might work. ;)

I did try to transfer 2k DIY FAST to my UOB1 account on 13Dec, shown as
Inward Credit-FAST
OTHR other

And my HR fast hand fast leg did the Giro transaction on 20Dec, shown as
Inward CR-GIRO
SALA Salary payment

if under the tnc, I think FAST transaction is excluded

How does one GIRO or PAYNOW with transaction reference as "SALA" or "PAYNOW SALA"?

I just try the ownself FAST salary method and the UOB account tracker successfully show salary credited next day. Next month shall know if bonus interest get credited.

The remitting bank app must be able to select salary as purpose of payment/transfer via the list of options.

Anyways salary credit is not the issue. The issue is $500 qualifying CC spend.
other ppl tell me quite easy to hit if u got buy insurance . bills already $100-$200 (phone bill, broadband, electricity bills). $100 + for monthly expenses like food or eating out etc. then another $200 for insurance ?

I have employer provided insurance so I don't buy insurance. Broadband is $30 M1. Utilities is like $150. I can hit $300 but hitting $500 consistently is difficult without manufactured spend.

So the correct term is "Salary" in the comment for fast in?
No leh I think they meant the type of transaction, not just writing "Salary" in the remarks/comments...

Idk if I want to try that especially since it is a big impact (5% or 0.05%).

But I'm just puzzled why FAST can work when it's clearly excluded. Should this be even discussed here?? Wait kena pecah lobang again :p

You can replace the spending to saving $500. Go ask abt the endowment plan with uob/prudential.

We using the 1 acc as a saving acc so alrdy depositing the $ every moth. Now part of it go to the prucash..just take as extra interest.

Should not get the endowment plan for the sake of UOB One interest. Because UOB can cut the interest rate anytime
