Update. I got the BI which is $379.91.
Thanks 👍 can I check if you have any balance above $100k earmarked?

The $379.91 is the BI for February right?

I'm wondering if the $100k is counted as part of the current balance or is it considered $0 and may incur fall-below fee.

Anything above 100k, I transferred to my privilege account.

Yes the $379.91 is Feb BI.

I opened the UOB one account on 14 Jan and fund 100k on 26 Jan. The 100k is earmarked on 1st March. I do not think it will incur fall below fee. Cheers.

From 01 Dec 2022, if you spend min. $500 on eligible CC spend and credit your salary, and has $100k in UOB one acct, the bonus interest per month should be :

28 days in the month = $379.91
29 days in the month = $393.48
30 days in the month = $407.05
31 days in the month = $420.62

Bonus interest is in!

Hi chiokcc and all, sometimes I wonder if it is worth channelling our spending (from other cards) to clock $500 to this UOB card for maximum interest. Hmm... Any thoughts or comments?

The good old days when we can leverage on iPayMy or Card up to clock to the minimum spent ($500, $2000). With so much exclusion to this UOB one card now, it may be a challenge for some of us.

There are not many cards that give rebates for Ipaymy/CardUp transactions nowadays, especially if you're looking at the combination of credit card + high yield interest bank account.

Also UOB One account, versus similar products from OCBC & DBS, arguably the requirements are less demanding. Above all there's no best product that applies for everyone, the key is to find the combination that suits your spending lifestyle best, so you maximize the returns whilst not having to stress too much over meeting the requirements.

Hi guys,

Just to check, at this moment no more cny or whatever promo already (except the new account of 110 rebate) right?

Nv took part in any special promo before. So I guess you guys withdraw the money from the account and then re-deposit it back into the one account to earmark the amount for the xmas/cny promo? Not sure how it works, appreciate it if can share info.

thanks

As I mentioned in a different thread before,

The convenience to ownself is an important consideration on which combi of card + bank account (with bonus interest) to use .... should not just chase after the best deal ....

I think the TnC is like this
1. 31 Dec 2022 balance - $1,002.99 (your account blance + base interest credited on 31 Dec 2022)
2. Register $X using the form in Jan 2023 - X to be either $50k or $100k or $200k. 31 Jan 2023 your balance must be $X + $1,002.99. And your top up funds will be earmarked on 28 Feb and cash credit on 28 Feb. It does not matter whether your deposit $X first or submit the form first as long as within Jan 2023. It does not matter how many time you submit the form in Jan 2023. The last submission will be taken into consideration and must match the top up amount.
3. For those who register in Feb, top up in Feb and top up funds earmarked by 31 Mar 2023 and cash credit 31 Mar

I called them on Thursday and was informed that they will check and call me few business days. Sianz.

I already have UOB absolute card and UOB Kris flyer credit card.

UOB is not allowing me to apply for any new cards. It gives me the below error. I tried evol, UOB one, prvi. Gives me same error.

I guess I will have to use the UOB one debit card only to fulfill the minimum spend for the high interest on UOB One account.

From what you have shared you seem to have a few cards and also balance transfer so not sure all these are affecting your new applications?

I also thought so. But in this case, UOB shares credit limit across cards, then why they don't allow me.

I was rejected for new card applications from BoC as well as DCB recently.

But Citibank allowed me to apply for Premier miles and cashback card, as I already have Rewards card with them with a huge BT outstanding of 86k, lol.

from your previous posts, seems you do this quite frequently - apply new card/get welcome promo gifts/cancel card muscial chairs. Plus recently you have BT outstanding. So I supposed your credit rating took a dive due to the BT. :)

Have u applied and cancelled BoC cards previously? Not sure if some banks keep past records for more than 12 months.

I only tried it at Shing Shiong. I reckon other supermarkets would do too. Do you buy $500 worth of groceries?
