Sorry i meant feb signup for lunar new yr promo.
I believe the tNc says by end March..

I also signed up in feb and deposited only on 28 Feb. still waiting for it to be earmarked as well. anyway while parking there it's still collecting 5% interest so I'm not that worried.

not exactly sure if they will earmark only on 31 Mar or earlier - asked before but nobody here offered an answer based on their experience (for those who joined in Jan).

Does anyone know how the UOB One CC works? When will the cashback be credited? I signed up and started using it in Jan, so when can I expect the cashback?

Cashback once every quarterly.

Must keep track and clock $500 eligible spending every month for 3 consecutive months to get $50 cashback every qtr.

I use app to keep track hahaha.

*Can double check the amount your clock under "details" of your One account.

How did you know it’s earmarked? Did they send you an sms to inform you?

I applied for the Christmas promotion in Dec and received an emailed stating that they received my application. I deposited the funds in to the account before year end and no news whether it has been earmarked. Dunno whether should make a trip down to the bank to check.

I participated the Jan promo and not earmarked, i called them to verify already.

https://www.uob.com.sg/web-resource...on/terms-and-conditions-savings-promotion.pdf
1.5 “Incremental Fresh Funds” means funds in the amount of S$50,000, S$100,000 or S$200,000:
(ii) in the form of non-UOB cheques or non-UOB cashier’s order;
(iii) that are not transferred from any existing UOB current/savings or fixed deposit account; and
(iv) that are not withdrawn from any existing UOB current/savings or fixed deposit account and redeposited (whether part or all of the amounts withdrawn) into the Account indicated in the Registration (as defined below) at any time during the Promotion Period.
Note:
(a) For existing Accounts, the Incremental Fresh Funds must result in at least a corresponding increment in the Account’s day-end balance throughout the Promotion Period as compared to the 31 December 2022 day-end balance of that Account.
(b) For Accounts newly opened during Promotion Period, the 31 December 2022 day-end balance shall be zero.

You need to maintain increment amount + 31 Dec day end balance everyday.

So let said that I join the promotion and put $100k at 28 Feb.
$100K + 31 Dec day end balance everyday. or the promotion period ===> Refer to 1st Mar - 31st Mar ??
And then the $100k will be earmarked on 31Mar.

same question man...

my 31 Dec 2022 end-day balance was $1000.04 (including the monthly base interest) and I have kept it at $1000 from 1 Jan 23 until I top up to $101000.04 on 28 Feb. I registered for the promo only in Feb and I recall the only instruction then was to top up by end Feb such that the incremental balance is $50k, $100k or $200k more than the end-day balance of 31 Dec 2022.

So does it mean I'm not eligible since my end-day balance from 1 Jan to 27 Jan was 4 cents below the 31 Dec 2022 end-day balance?

That's really dumb if true.

Thanks for taking the trouble to explain in detail how this promotion works. I also merely top up and didn’t read so much of having an incremental balance. I won’t bother to call them. Will withdraw my funds in the Acc. Really disappointed with them.

You are not the first. All these promotion come with so many TnC so one need to understand but some misinterpreted. That is why I now try the easiest route FD, Tbill, SSB, high yield savings account without any condition

Thanks for your inputs. Fully agree. I am also doing the T-bills, SSB, FD routes. But for emergency funds, was thinking just park them here. Guess will use RHB, SC or MayBank high yield savings accounts. Since I have no salary, not worth using UOB one or OCBC 360.

just curious, so for your case, you register in Jan 2023, top up in Jan 2023 but after top up you did some withdrawal and then 31 Jan 2023 or so, you re topup some amount again so that 31 Jan 2023 end day balance is $50k/$100k/$200k more than 31 Dec 2022 end day balance? So u did not fulfill the requirement that everyday in Jan 2023 must maintain the registered topup amount?

I am in the same situation as you. I had a $0.98 dip in my end Jan 2023 balance compared to 31 Dec 2022 due to some GIRO transactions  I register in Feb 2023 and topup 27 Feb

I think I withdrew $100k from Ocbc and transferred to UOB one account. Immediately transferred to my UOB stash account which was designated for the promotion. So this is not considered fresh funds? So not eligible for the promotion.😡

I dont think it should count from 1 jan for day end balance. If not, all must join on 1 jan to qualify. It states day end balance and not mthly ave balance.

The promo period should from the day you register or fund in. Not from 1jan.

hope that it starts from the day it's funded in (I funded in on 28 Feb - the last day of the promo). otherwise, will probably be disqualified as there were days after I registered (19 Feb) when the end-day balance was below the 31 Dec 2022 balance.

anyway, I did UOB Assist chat with the bank but the person - as expected - cannot say whether I qualify or not but just gave me the useless reply that the amount earmarked will be by 31 Mar, so if don't earmarked by then, means not qualify lor.

getting really annoyed with the bank with their lousy / useless response. ask them is as good as asking the tree.
