Looks like EIR of 3.3% makes this the best salary crediting account. Not sure if UOB will follow OCBC though
If they cut to 2.8% it'll still be an okay rate. But if they cut until 2% then, maybe need to just stick to DBS Multiplier.Looks like EIR of 3.3% makes this the best salary crediting account. Not sure if UOB will follow OCBC though
If cut to 2%, I'd rather park in CPF OA liao by doing housing refund since can easily withdraw whenever i want.If they cut to 2.8% it'll still be an okay rate. But if they cut until 2% then, maybe need to just stick to DBS Multiplier.
are you above 55?If cut to 2%, I'd rather park in CPF OA liao by doing housing refund since can easily withdraw whenever i want.
Not everyone is at that age where they can do that.If cut to 2%, I'd rather park in CPF OA liao by doing housing refund since can easily withdraw whenever i want.
UOB makes sense if you already spend 500 each month. DBS easy to achieve 4.1%, but you need an insurance, and it's only cheap if you're younger for a few bucks each month, otherwise it won't make sense. With OCBC 360 interest cut in Aug 2025, so looking at UOB One and DBS Multiplier. For just salary crediting and credit card spend, UOB will be the highest interest rate (assuming it does not interest rate for now)? DBS Multiplier so many criteria
Thanks for advice.
In the past while TBills with higher rate was pretty easy if you have TBills ladder and you can also redeem SSB from time to time and rolled ove with just $2. Now probably have to rely on high salary credit....But to get 4.1% for DBS, need 30k transaction per month.
With a lower interest environment comingWith OCBC 360 interest cut in Aug 2025, so looking at UOB One and DBS Multiplier. For just salary crediting and credit card spend, UOB will be the highest interest rate (assuming it does not interest rate for now)? DBS Multiplier so many criteria

They already cut STASH, probably can maintain UOB one current rates for the moment .....If I'm uob, there's no reason to maintain if my competitors have already reduced rates
There is a mismatch of $500 to get bonus interest for UOB one account, and $600 for quarterly card rebates ....UOB ONE CC Monthly spending become $600 to enjoy quarterly cashback
Spend the following:
S$600, S$1,000 or S$2,000 per month (min. 10 purchases)
Get Cashback:
S$60, S$100 or S$200 respectively per quarter
Changes to the quarterly cashback, minimum monthly spend and transactions will be effective on your next qualifying quarter that begins on or after 1 September 2025 as follows:
• September, October and November
• October, November and December
• November, December, January
