When the spend per month is $1000, the rewards is $100 additional per Q nd if $2000 it yields $200.

if you pay your income tax by giro (plus a couple of easy conditions to meet) , you get an additional $50 every month if u keep a ADB of $150k or higher in UOB 1. Lesser payouts for lower amount of ADB.

Hi. Just FYI I received the $50 rebate for the income tax GIRO earlier this week. I am already on GIRO for my income tax before this promotion. I think this is for month of April as the description say ONE TAX PROMO 2504. I think 04 means April.

oh man, I only get $25 for the tax promo, and i am at $499.68, just 32 cents short to $500 to get the $50 tax rebate. How do i remedy this? should try to change the giro account around giro deduction time to make sure it doesnt get deducted for July? then change it back so to skip one month payment and have the amount increase for subsequent month to hit $500?

I think it’s because your MAB is less than 150K? Not because of your tax giro amount. You would have gotten close to $30 if u had 150K MAB.

I dunno, maybe that could be one of the reason as i tried to transfered $150k on 1st May but as it was a public holiday, the money only got credited on 2nd May.

The tax promo has to be careful with the MAB. After reading the T&C, I have placed an additional $100 as buffer in the UOB to cater to days when I am busy at work, and have some lag time before I checked account after the GIRO payments. I also placed notification on my phone to remind me to check on predicted dates of GIRO payments to ensure MAB is at $150k. If only UOB can calculate the MAB every day so that I can find out how much to top up to hit the MAB.

Your GIRO Monthly Tax Payment Plan needs to be $833.33 (not $500) to earn the Monthly Cash Rebate Cap of $50.

$833.33 x 6% = $50

In my case I joined giro in early may 2025.
5th June - there was tax deduction.
17th June - tax rebate of $40.81 given ant the description was ONE TAX PROMO 2505...! So it looks like 05 in 2505 is the giroed month which is May

same here, mine only can start in May and I received the first rebate this month. also 2505, so it should be for the month of May as there was no deduction in April.
