Trust needing salary from corporate account - a heck of a (full brick wall) show stopper (unless you own a business and have your own corporate bank account).

Even with salary, bonus at best is only a meh 2.25%. Totally forgettable.

You need keep 100k balances minimally too and spend on their cards. Also from 1 Aug the rate is going to be further lowered, max 2%

You don’t use cc?
Every $500 spent per month gives u additional $50 per quarter.
When the spend per month is $1000, the rewards is $100 additional per Q nd if $2000 it yields $200.

if you pay your income tax by giro (plus a couple of easy conditions to meet) , you get an additional $50 every month if u keep a ADB of $150k or higher in UOB 1. Lesser payouts for lower amount of ADB.

There are so many reports of UOB cards getting hacked. So I always locked my cards and unlock only when needed. Means UOB card can't be my main card. A bit troublesome but give peace of mind.

When will the tax payment rebate be credited?​

Your eligibility will be assessed monthly, and the rebate on qualifying tax payments will be credited into your One Account by the end of the next 2 calendar months. For example, if you have met all qualifying conditions - including IRAS tax payment via GIRO in May 2025, your tax payment rebate will be credited by end of July 2025.

Subsequently, if you continue to pay your taxes via GIRO in June 2025 but did not meet other qualifying conditions (for example, you removed money lock by setting Locked Amount to $0), you will not qualify for tax payment rebate in the month of June 2025.
