The new promo includes payment for Singtel and SP bills, as well as Prudential insurances.

But it's only payment via GIRO? so if they are billed to credit card (e.g. UOB One Card), it won't enjoy the 6% rebate right?

So I have to convert my bill payment to GIRO instead of credit card (which would have qualify as eligible spending for most of the bills) for the bonus interest. not sure if it's worth the switch... have to do some detailed calculations -.-

There is Monthly Cash Rebate Cap, if you are capped with IRAS tax payment then you might not need to add on additional bill payment.

"GIRO payment must be paid with eligible accounts — UOB Uniplus Account, UOB One Account, KrisFlyer UOB Account or UOB Lady’s Savings Account"

I guess if you can hit the minimum spend for credit card easily then can consider switching to GIRO, otherwise just prioritize to pay with credit card to hit minimum spend first.

I think I'll shift my Singtel bills to eGIRO in that case, since it'll enjoy 6% rebate instead of the 3.33% under UOB One card.

Maybe the SP bill also (3.33% + 1%).

If IRAS already > $840 is sufficient? Or must have at least 1 Telco,1 Utility, etc??

You need to pay attention to utility bills if you stay HDB.... given quarterly U-save rebate from govt, there may be months you pay nothing or very little for the bill .....

If stay condo or landed, then different story ......

i just set up mobile paynow, money lock $1, and set up egiro for income tax, utilities bill, and telco bill to One Account.

income tax my new giro deduction cycle starts in may 2026 and ends in apr 2027. assuming that my newly set up giro for utilities bill and telco bill also start giro deduction in mat 2026, means i miss out 1 month of rebate? since the promotion period already started in Apr 2026 and ends in Mar 2027

also, i read in the tnc that the rebate will be within the next 2 calendar month after the month of giro deduction, based on existing users' experience, this means that my first deduction in may 2026, i will only see my rebate credited in jul 2026?
