Assuming $150k from April till end November, the $700 cash reward is equivalent to about 0.7% EIR. Adding on to the prevailing UOB ONE EIR of about 1.9%, the total EIR is about 2.6%.

For those who has no salary credit to UOB one account, but still satisfy $500 credit card spend and 3 GIRO deductions in a calendar month, the bonus interest are as such :

28 days in a month : $129.45
30 days in a month : $138.69
31 days in a month : $143.32

What if have salary credit and 3 giro deduction, which one take precedence?

Card spend + Salary > Card spend + GIRO

Note that card spend is a pre-requisite .... if you don't meet card spend criteria, whatever amounts of salary or GIRO would not help earn the bonus interest ....

I tried on another bank, transfer from joint (bank a) to bank (b) then back to personal (bank a), didnt wait for 30 days and got the higher promo rate. not sure if this works for this Uob promo

For those participate into the Stash Cash promotion, have you think about if UOB reduce the promotion rate (eg, UOB One) within the 7 months embarked period? No choice we would still have to keep the fund there otherwise the 700 will be forfeited?

No time to think now. Just grab whatever good now. Rate will be reduced or not. Tats the matter of time.

i just set up mobile paynow, money lock $1, and set up egiro for income tax, utilities bill, and telco bill to One Account.

income tax my new giro deduction cycle starts in may 2026 and ends in apr 2027. assuming that my newly set up giro for utilities bill and telco bill also start giro deduction in mat 2026, means i miss out 1 month of rebate? since the promotion period already started in Apr 2026 and ends in Mar 2027

also, i read in the tnc that the rebate will be within the next 2 calendar month after the month of giro deduction, based on existing users' experience, this means that my first deduction in may 2026, i will only see my rebate credited in jul 2026?
How to set up egiro , is it directly within uobone platform, or still have to work it out with the utility and Telco vendors?

i used the vendor's apps, like M1, SP, IRAS. From their app can apply egiro, during application, you will be redirected to your bank app/webage to login and approve the application and after that you will be automatically redirected back to the vendor's app, and the vendor app will tell you application successful.

if want to cancel the giro arrangement, just go to your bank app, and from there just delete can liao.

egiro so much easier than paper giro

for SP, is it immediately updated to GIRO for you? I tried to apply through the app but it still shows it as Credit Card (default). So I'm not sure whether it'll be done via GIRO this month, or the application is unsuccessful.

update: ok... just checked the app again and it's now saying it's "pending setup" and the bank has already approved. so... probably won't make it for this month's deduction/payment...

Yes. Already mentally prepared that th effective deduction date would be the next month.
