spending $500 on designated cards is MANDATORY to earn bonus interest for One account.

3x GIRO or salary is extra interest, but only if spending condition is MET, else also nothing.

does topping up ez link consider as spending??

First criteria is spending $500 on the credit card. That's the key criteria. If you don't meet that credit card spending criteria, even if you have three GIRO *or* credit salary also won't get the bonus interest.

Note that the $500 spending per month for the ONE account follows the calendar month (this is to get the ONE account bonus savings interest), but the $500 spending per month for the ONE credit card (for the credit card cashback calculation) is 13th of this month to 12th of the next. They do this just to confuse you more.

Hmm the guy only tell me one of the criteria is either credit salary or 3 giro, second criteria is spending $500

Thanks man! Did not know that can be done. Just called them to get it changed to sync up with calendar month, and it's done!

Good to hear that. I've spoken to UOB cso to change my statement date twice in the past 3 months. 1st time cso claimed it's approved but wasn't change. 2nd time cso told me it wasn't in my record, so he help me change and double confirm it's changed and approved.

Til 3rd or 4th month liao, my statement date still didn't change. give up on calling them and repeat my story le

I got a question to ask.. if I'm using paywave to pay my thing using one cc, does it count as part of the spending $500?

Yes it does. In fact you should, because now you need to have at least five transactions on your CC per month to qualify for the cashback. So just tap those low value items to clock up the number of transactions.

Good point, I'll make a note to check they actually do it. I was told this would take effect with my March statement which will be issued on 31st of March. Will post an update on how this goes.
