Yes, this only affects the CC rebate, and not the UOB One interest.

sounds silly if it only applies to rebates and not the interest, but actually all along i assume it applies to the monthly interest too regarding the exclusion of the 0% IPP monthly starting this month.

I hope uob has the decency to at least provide a sms alert on the new tnc. This is after all a new savings account which normal peasants wont review tncs every now and then like a credit card tnc.

Yes it's a bit ambiguous, but they only announced it on their ONE credit card, and not the ONE savings account. If you look a the ONE account page, neither the terms there nor the interest calculator lists the new terms and conditions for the credit card.

Also look at the fine print under the '^' heading. That's for the ONE account, and it excludes the new CC terms and conditions. Then look at the fine print under the '+' heading with the new terms and conditions. That's for the credit card cash rebate.

Depends how much savings you have. If 50k then UOB One better at 2.43% vs OCBC 360 2.25% interest

ah I see.

but the new changes they don't count monthly installment plans on ONE card as spending right. and I need to make 5 new transaction every month? I don't like giro cos often I prefer paying manually after reviewing the bills (especially cc). so honestly I'm only earning int based on pay roll and the cc cash rebate but now idk what I can earn alr lol

new changes affect rebate on the UOB One Card only, not bonus interest. Btw can use UOB Yolo or UOB Lady's to fulfil UOB One account Bonus interest requirement.

Anyone tried using Giro for line of credit? Just wandering will the Giro be based on min payment or full payment?

And if my Singtel bill already have prepaid balance can Giro? ... lol

What other possible Giros? (Excluding telco, CC, Iras?)

Can I ask again, do the 5 transactions include GIRO deductions and online purchases?

TIA

yes, as long as it's GIRO payment, 3 cc bills will work fine

can be same bank, different card too (as long as 3 different card numbers)

I asked the branch officer today and she says example 3 different CC from 1 billing organisation , considered as 1 only..

Can anyone else confirm?

Thanks

Anyone knows what is the meaning of "From 1 Feb 17, only credit card bill payments of amount above 2k will be processed"?

Meaning previously setup giro no longer effective if uobone card <2k spending?

No. This is referring to credit card bill payment at uob branch.
